The Dreadful story About A Normal American Teenage Boy and A Fatal Crash

Just A Boy and An Ocean

By: Reporter Ashlyn DeBoer

It has been 3 weeks since the dreadful event of a high school student named Robbie Emberland. A Cargo flew out at 3 am that morning to go to Hawaii. As he was on his way to see his aunt they came upon some conditions that they call, “unknown weather.” The plane went down around 5 am that morning with only 3 passengers on the cargo. At this time no one was around to see this plane go down.

A huge news report came on that morning reporting that a plane went down that morning. As the new report was on multiple people were called in to  join the search party. The reporters were asked to bring a pen, pencil, camera, and a device. As the team was boarding the ship a tear fell down my face thinking about what these people are going through right now. We went from Lanai, to Kauai, and finally to our last possible location of the suspects to the island of Maui.

As me and this crew were coming upon the island I was asked to get a blanket and a fresh pair of clothing. As I approached her, my first question was as easy as how are you? Followed up by the question everyone was wondering, “What happened?” I looked down in his hand and saw a empty skittles wrapper.

The team gently laid him down and dressed him in fresh, clean clothing. Once he was settled in we sailed off and he began telling the story from his perspective. He started it with, “One second I was on a plane and next I was in the ocean with a single tube and one bag of skittles.” We arrived that next morning at 8 am. On the boat dock, was anxiously awaiting her Mom, twin sisters, and father.

We lifted Robbie onto the boat deck and let her go with his parents. With no time to spare reporters left and right were bombarding her with questions. He kindly said not now and went right to a hospital (with her parents) where she got great care and got loads of food he never imagined he’d get. One week later he was back In school just like you everyday ordinary child.
