Some of Our Favorite Recipes

In our Practical Living class, our group that consists of Raegan on the right, Karissa in the middle, and me on the left, baked three different recipes. I chose to bake blueberry muffins, Karissa chose avocado toast, and Reagan cooked potatoes. Our group worked so well throughout the semester, and baked some pretty delicious dishes. A couple things I learned throughout this class was to soak your fruit in flour prior to baking. The blueberry muffins I baked turned out so good, and I give all the credit to that tip! I would also recommend cleaning as you go. For example, if you mix brownies in a bowl, as soon as you finish pouring the batter into the pan, soak the bowl in the sink. Throughout each of the recipes, we found this tip to be very helpful.  One of our favorite recipes we baked were the hot cocoa cookies. We made these for a Christmas cookie bake-off. We even won the contest that some of the teachers judged! Overall, we learned some very helpful things during this class and I can’t wait to apply them to my future into college. Below I will put my blueberry muffin recipe, which my group and I gave a 10 rating, which we would highly recommend using!
